(but only if your wishes are positive ones)...

I am the mountain which makes herself known,
By running away, then coming back home.
My name has been sung by many abroad,
What is the title of which I am called?

She'll be coming round the mountain when she comes
She'll be coming round the mountain when she comes
She'll be coming round the mountain, she'll be coming round the mountain,
She'll be coming round the mountain when she comes

She'll be driving six white horses when she comes
She'll be driving six white horses when she comes
She'll be driving six white horses, she'll be driving six white horses,
She'll be driving six white horses when she comes

Oh, we'll all go out to meet her when she comes
Oh, we'll all go out to meet her when she comes

Oh, we'll all go out to meet her, we'll all go out to meet her,
We'll all go out to meet her when she comes

She'll be wearing red pajamas when she comes
She'll be wearing red pajamas when she comes

She'll be wearing red pajamas, she'll be wearing red pajamas,
She'll be wearing red pajamas when she comes

She will have to sleep with Grandma when she comes
She will have to sleep with Grandma when she comes
She will have to sleep with Grandma, she will have to sleep with Grandma,
She will have to sleep with Grandma when she comes

What a great guess, CrazyLady! But that isn't it, either.

I think you and Francis are nearing the answer, although, he hasn't yet let me know exactly what Dancing Lady is, so that I can let him know if he is actually close to it.

Hint: In the year that this title was sung...

The record of the year was "Strangers in the Night" by Frank Sinatra
The album of the year was "Sinatra: A Man and His Music" by Frank Sinatra
The song of the year was "Michelle" by John Lennon and Paul McCartney

The singer is male, Chai Tea. But he is singing to his love who is female.

And the year was 1967, not 1966. (But you were very close.)
