It was nice of you to do so but it was hardly necessary.

You're a pretty rad gal, this is pretty tangental, and you've got two feet. So:

Tangent(45 radians)*(7.5+7.5) = 24.3ish

so why are they so bloody pathetic when it comes to the slightest thing mathematical? How many first class female mathematicians do YOU know?

On the other hand, how many men give birth?

[ok I'll get me coat]

I know several first-class female mathemeticians, actually. I'M not one -- I adored math until high school, where I took calculus as a freshman (14), hated the teacher, translated to hating math, and since I already took calculus didn't have to take anything else ever (in high school or college).

ok I'm sure you do

but is it that maths is not a girly thing?

or is it that mens and womens brains are wired up differently?

I suspect the latter. (and spendius)

I don't even pretend to be anything more sophisticated than an absolute idiot when it comes to math.

I've come to terms with that.

Since this is art, you've got to use the golden ratio (phi). MIght as well throw i (sqrt(-1)) in for good measure:

[(45 - 7.5) / phi] + pi - e - i^2 = 24.6 (approx)
