Francis, what do you think of the film?
Have to admit that it made me laugh. Yes, it is crude and certainly non pc, but the idiocy of it I found to be funny.
To kill and burn because of a blasphemous image is, to me, a sign of a cult-like, insecure, dependence.
Set, keep the jokes coming!

Hey, Buddy, I don't care if you can tap-dance on the water--if you don't wash your feet, you can't get into the pool.
Tisk.. Tisk... My imaginary friend is shaking His head at you setanta...
LOL

It does no harm. Ignorance does...
Now, I had a sample how Western people react, which matches the pattern I had about it.
Interesting so far no Muslims came here, or, if they did, did not comment...
Ignorance, yes, and determined ignorance at that.
I thought it was hilarious until the bus thing.
I could care less about the religious conontation. To me, as an Atheist, Jesus is no different than Bob or Jane. But the idea of a person getting immediately hit by a bus is not humorous to me, regardless if they are a messiah or not.
I did chuckle again at the 'In memory of Jesus Christ.." bit at the end; I wonder if my disattatchment to Christ/Christianity has anything with my ability to see the humor in this. I did stop laughing when the bus came, and so for humor's sake, should I watch it again, I will stop it just shortly before that.

Dont worry about that, "He will survive"!
I loved it...because it was zany, clever, ridiculous humour.
The juxtapositions were so silly.....and the timing of my being sent it when the religious fanatics were at their height here added to it.
I think it is just using all the ideas and images that float around Jesus, and that dumb song....and the utterly bathetic ending...to be silly.
It ISN'T saying that Jesus is a force of evil, which is the import of the Danish cartoons re Mohammed.
It certainly does make poor Jesus look a little silly and camp, though.
Which I especially like since so many of his alleged followers are so prejudiced against gays.
It was sent to me by a devout Catholic, BTW, and has been greatly enjoyed so far by the christians I personally know.
Seems like a percentage of the followers of one imaginary friend have a better chance, percentage wise, of having a sense of humour than some others?
