I'm From China!

Reply Mon 6 Feb, 2006 11:28 am
Hi there,I'm new here ,from China, registered just now.

From the topics and the discussions,it seems that most of views posted in this forum are constructive and rational.

I very wanna get some views about China from foreigners, like "What do u want China will be in the future?" "the expectation of developing the relationships between China and your countries?"

I hope we can exchange our opinions here, and improve together.

May be I will make some mistakes in grammar ,sorry about that or tell me.

I'm now in Guangzhou China,THX for reading and your reply!

Welcome to the Forum!

I've been in your wonderful city. I stayed at the "White Swan" hotel which was brand new when I was there.

If I wasn't so old, I would consider moving to China! Wonderful people!

新年好 Smile raymond

Yes as you said this is really a good place for discussions on various topics which you probably don't have any chance to have in your daily life.
And don't worry, in this weird modern world only juggernauts like Yahoo, Microsoft, and yes, most recently Google could be beaten by our censors, while many small fish like A2K are absolutely safe.
Talk about something more about yourself. We, especially I, are curious Smile
How do have the strong enthusiasm and of discussing and...inter-improving Smile

Hey welcome my asian buddy!

I am your neighbour from India.

I have read a lot about china. The Three Gorges fascinates me after the great Wall.

I would love to come to china. Smile

And thx the administrator!

yup, i think A2K is much safer than our domestic forums.
u know, we cannot talk about sth sensitive topic, such as some dark sides of our society or some discussions of disturbing steadiness of society.

i'm still on my winter vacation now! so i can online late.

Welcome to A2K.

Iam sure you are aware that many Westerners are fearful of China because it is perceived as a growing ruthless economic rival. The agreement by Google to provide a "censored service" has been viewed with mixed feelings. It would be interesting to hear your own views on these matters assuming of course you are free to talk  .

I am from China too (HK, specifically but why distinguish?) and by the looks of it Ramond Chan you have met many people both chinese and who have views on china. I look forward to contributing to many of your topics which are ones I have always been interested in but never got around to seriously thinking about.

raymond, I will follow the discussion of hot topics, but I am also interested in understanding the culture and lifestyle of the people. What parts of the American culture most interest the Chinese?
