When did London begin with an L and end with an E?

A headless man had a letter to write
It was read by one who had lost his sight.
The dumb repeated it, word for word,
And he who was deaf both listened and heard.
What is it?

Welcome to the forum Yadah, I hope you enjoy your stay.

I would say: London always begins with an L, and End always begins with an E.

"What is it?"

Nothing, nought, zero.

NINE is made from 11 straight lines:

XX-X=X

London began with L at the beginning and End began with E at the beginning.

As for the 2nd riddle it's Silence.
