I think that the members of this forum are quite active and usually like to take part in long discussions regarding various areas of topics and others, like myself, like to take part in these as well as daily discussions which are also fun.
SHould a2k get an mIRC server or some sort of instant messaging service for this forum? I'm definitely sure we will be able to have more active debates ^^
hmm prolly not ever happen and it would be a negative to the group\community dynamics
yeah we have group\community dynamics down to an art form.

well it's not perfect yet
There is a chat room available to subscribers of the forum.
It was rarely, if ever, used.
Doesn't seem to be working these days - and the subscribers aren't fussing about it.
It's not what most of us like about the community.

Okay so we dont need an Irc channel, Oh well then ^^
IRC Chat. Curious?
OK not letting this go away totally...
Here's an idea for those who might (or would like to) frequent IRC (Internet Relay Chat), ... or for those that would like to meet on IRC, or to invite others to do so ... or just want to check it out / say hi) . If you are there, please list here where you frequent on IRC.
FWIW, I'll start out:
I'm on Undernet and often visit a channel called #41plustrivia
We can create a channel...even briefly ... and chat.
Anyone else?
IRC is a very popular series of chat networks, of which Undernet is the most popular and useful. It's fairly useful in that there are Help channels and many friendly people and fun channels. Undernet is relatively free of problems (and hackers). Anyone can have a registered nick there so I they can be found there easily (my nick there is Ragman)

I know, Phoenix. Quite a while. I've been working and living the good (virtuous) life <yawn>
Hope all has been well for you.
