My problem with avatars is that I keep changing my mind, like I change my underwear (no, not once a month! Laughing

).

Sometimes an avatar seems to fit perfectly, and then at other times, it seems all wrong.

So, my thinking is that I need something neutralish to fit all situations. I know Eva will miss my smiling mug, but I got tired of looking at myself.

If one has no avatar, it's hard at a glance to pick you out of a crowd of others with no avatar.

At least that's the way I see it....

I chose mine for the same reason as Walter and Frank. (Hello Frank... you coming to Chicago?).
I agree that Farmerman just isn't Farmerman without the Grant Avatar. I like Thomas as Friedman too. CJ, your first one of you is the one I remember best. Eva, Deb, Phoenix etc, etc, etc. would do well to never change. I automatically read anything posted by certain persons and Avatars make it easier to identify them.

I agree with you here that certain avatars are associated with certain folks, and I tend to look out for them.

Well, I changed the avatar again Smile

Bill, somehow I am also fond of the avatars people had
when I first came to this site. Your picture with the cheese head
was the first I remember (although this one is better).

husker I liked best with his own picture avatar, and Intrepid
can't ever erase the Willliam Schachtner image I have of him,
as well as Reyn with the little puppet avatar he once had.
It also would feel strange to see Osso with another avatar -
we all have grown fond of Paco.

I get tired of my Delphic Sibyl sometimes, so I use holidays or occasions to mix it up.

Eva, I had completely forgotten that I was Venus for a while until you mentioned that you wanted to use her when I was done. Very Happy

It spurred me to find this one, which is the one I really wanted anyway.
