Through your profile page. Read the bit at the bottom in regards to sizes.

Or, are you talking in general, in a post? If so, use the IMG tags.

I dunno ... but judging on the evil look on its holier-than-thou "oh, I'm so innocent just look at me blowing bubbles" face, it's probably nothing too nice.

I meant in posts, and I tried the IMG tags but it wants to go to a URL, not to uploading pix from my HD.

You have to right click on a pic, and go to Properties. Copy and paste the URL in the IMG tags.

Works for everybody else... Laughing

From the A2K Help Desk:

Quote:
Can I post Images?

Solution
Images can indeed be shown in your posts. However, there is no facility at present for uploading images directly to this board. Therefore you must link to an image stored on a publicly accessible web server, e.g. http://www.some-website.net/my-picture.gif. You can neither link to pictures stored on your own PC (unless it is a publicly accessible server) nor to images stored behind authentication mechanisms such as Hotmail or Yahoo mailboxes, password-protected sites, etc. To display images use the BBCode [img] [/img] tags.

Chumly- You can post your pics on:

http://groups.msn.com/TheRavensRealm

That site happens to be run by the same person who created this site.
It really is not very difficult to post a pic on A2K, once you get the hang of it!

Yeah Reyn, but he's right, it needs to be online already first. You cant link in a file thats on your own HD (Hard Disk). Chumly, you'll have to upload your pic somewhere first before you can link it in.

Luckily, that can be really simple. Go to http://www.pictiger.com, for example. You dont even need to register. Just click "browse", look up the picture file on your HD and double click it, select a category and click the "Upload button". It'll then give you the URL for the file in different shapes - and thats it!

Laughing Chalk it down to my bad instructions. Good thing I'm not a teacher.

I meant to say an existing pic online. Doh!

I use PhotoBucket. Quite simple to use.

Sometimes I find myself associating people with avatars, either out of laziness or bc the person has kept one for a long time.
The other day I found myself picturing the puppy of Setana's avatar saying the things he was saying. I burst out laughing - the contrast of that sweet little face and the words, I guess.

This is my third avatar since I've been here. Frankly, I miss my first one, but it was creating too much confusion. I have been feeling more warm n' fuzzy lately, so when I found this picture of a loving couple in black n' white I changed it.

OH, and Frank: If you're still reading; I miss you in The Sadism & Reprobation Forum. Please come back.

I miss you too, Neo...but I think I will stay away from the S & R (and Political) fora for while longer.

They sure can be a test, can't they!
