The earth was originally water, and life was originated from water:

"He it is Who created the heavens and the earth in six Days - and His Throne was over the waters - that He might try you, which of you is best in conduct. But if thou wert to say to them, "Ye shall indeed be raised up after death", the Unbelievers would be sure to say, "This is nothing but obvious sorcery!" (The Noble Quran, 11:7)"

"Do not the Unbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were joined together (as one unit of creation), before we clove them asunder? We made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe? (The Noble Quran, 21:30)"

"It is He Who has created man from water: then has He established relationships of lineage and marriage: for thy Lord has power (over all things). (The Noble Quran, 25:54)"

"And God has created every animal from water: of them there are some that creep on their bellies; some that walk on two legs; and some that walk on four. God creates what He wills for verily God has power over all things. (The Noble Quran, 24:45)"

notice how christians believe that earth was made in 7 days, and that god rested on the 7th day lollll.

my question to christians: if god is perfect, why does he need to rest?

or even if they believe earth was made in 6 days, then again my questions stands to be correct, why does god need to rest?

What has any of this to do with 'science'?
I have yet to hear a scientific theory positing that life came from water in the sense that life is 'made of water'
I have heard a theory that posits life originated in water, but these are two separate things.
You are either stupid or purposely equivocating for the purpose of deception.
And as for your first premise 'the earth was originally water' (I assume this means bereft of land)
1 - What scientific theory posits this?
2 - none of your koranic verses support your premise in any way.

Simply amazing. You would do better to stay away from the whole 'science' angle. Those that it will appeal to will invariably know more about science than you, and you will end up with a proverbial bulletwound to the foot.

AND ABOUT EARTH BEING MADE OF WATER, GO READ THE VERSES I PROVIDED AND SHOW ME WHERE IT SAYS THAT EARTH IS MADE OF WATER, THAT IS THE AUTHOR'S MISUNDERSTANDING.

IN THE NOBLE VERESES IT STATES THAT ALL "LIVING THINGS" ARE MADE FROM WATER
