It's fantasy. I started with fantasy as a young adult and moved to hard science fiction. But, this fantasy series has me hooked.
I have never read fantasy, apart from Lord of the Rings as a pre-teen - seems to be huge at present - refuge from the REAL world-wide conspiracy of doom?
Traditionally, hares are magical creatures - I have a beautiful Japanese drinking cup with magical hares upon it.
This character is definitely magical. And I don't mean that she casts spells. She travels between the the realities of the multiverse and manipulates people's dreams (someone else's reallity or some such) to effect change.
So it's like hare today, gone tomorrow?
