Misconceptions arise because of skeptics and critics who choose not to accept the truth out of ignorance.
Then again why do Christians fail to agree on various concepts of the bible?
Look, it's true that both ignorant and also non-ignorant people try to change truth often times. But my point was, if something is truth, it will stand out. Or in other words, you will not be able to change it. It will remain the same. A very clear example is this - They say, 'God is Truth' right? So since one cannot change God, one cannot change truth. Another example is - Consider the Second Coming of Christ. Only the person who came the first time can come again, right? Then how come other people out there claim that they are the second coming? You can't change the truth that it can only be Christ who comes again. Therefore, whoever claims to be the second coming to be himself, is a false prophet.
And the reason Christians fail to agree on various concepts of the bible is because some things have been manipulated, so they just want to establish their own thinking which they believe to be right, and that again constitutes another manipulation. What I'm saying is let's say some prophet said abc, okay? Now, if that is not truth coming from God, it will get manipulated. What some people in religious power want to look like truth, they will manipulate things to make it look like the truth too. I'm not saying don't put ideas forth, but don't enforce that that's the truth. As for what everyone agrees upon in the Holy Books, and around which there is no ambiguity, that clearly has to be true! Whatever...
