This is the second post I've made since registering. The first post allowed me to edit a few times, but then the edit button was no longer there. I checked to make sure I was logged in, and I was.
So what I'll do is submit this one, then check to see if it has reappeared. If it hasn't I'll let you know.
You can edit your posts up until someone else posts after you. I think that makes sense.
And welcome to A2K!

Thank you, sublime1. I looked over the rules on editing, but didn't see that part. hmmm... That's something new to me. Are you sure?

ahhh... do you know what I just did? I just posted this entire thread twice. Oh, but now I see the edit button. ;-)

Forgive me for questioning you, sublime1... you are so correct!
I liked it better when it wasn't this way. We used to be able to edit no matter what (barring a locked topic, of course).
The editing rule was changed because a lot of edits were contributing to a huge server load, which was making the site crawl.

Ooh, well at least the new topics page was finally fixed.

Hey, that's okay. At least we get to edit! Another forum where I'm a private member doesn't permit editing at all, once it's posted.
the trick here is moving fast - and locking someone else's errors in

I love your Chihuahua!!! It looks exactly like one of the two I used to have. I loved them both dearly, as if they were my own children.

Noddy24, you've very aptly described one of the adorable traits of a Chihuahua. God made them very small for a reason. If they were bigger, they would be more playfully ferocious than any other animal on the face of the earth. Very protective and loyal, too.
