Not exactly, I've flown Melbourne - Amsterdam in 22 hours. I think Australia to America is 27 hours plus.

Or if you hire a digger - you could tunnel there in less than an hour.

Unchallenged or not, lezzles, it only goes to show that you're the exception that proves the rule!

X-cellent, my friend! Laughing
Have just gotten new crossword competitions in that have had a few Irish-related clues, and automatically thought of you each time and smiled!

Republic of Ireland- Eire

Scottish or Irish tax- Cess

Cryptic clue-
Irish county's team used to open many a bottle. (9)
Irish county = Cork :wink:
team = crew
Irish county's team = Cork's Crew
Used to open many a bottle = corkscrew

Read your earlier post about living near Cork. Cool

Yes indeed and actually in the County of Cork.

As an aside, if you want to wish someone ill, the old-timers here say: "Bad cess to you".

Zounds! Isn't that funny- I wondered at the time I did that cryptic clue whether you may have lived anywhere in the vicinity of the County of Cork! I read your other post about it when I came online tonight, amazing! Very Happy

Apropos an earlier discussion, Dutchy mentioned that property prices in Sydney were crazy. He suggested asking you about this.
