Thankfully, got on the ladder before the madness set in.

(were you really interested in a home here at one point, mame?)

Very expensive homes in Tuscany. I want to move there so bad. I found some reasonably priced Homes in Dover England. Dutchy, expensive down there?

Well Shari, you wouldn't want to move down under, outright scandalous, in particular Melbourne & Sydney.

'xactly, lmur... we were seriously looking. I loved Galway and Connemara... we drove all over, though...My husband's family is from Ireland (has some family in Donegal) and we were there for a few weeks - really loved it. Not too expensive at the time, but ho, now it's outrageous. Although where I live it's unbelievable, too... the average house price is $1Million, so there ya go.

And whereabouts in Ireland do you live, lmur? Only Vancouver and Toronto are so high in Canada, Shari...

Don't trouble yourself - they say the best thing to come out of Cork is the road to Dublin.

Everyone can say something bad about where they live -- I doubt it's as bad as "they say"....ever been to Canada?

Funny you should say that - we have tentative plans to visit North America (for the first time) later this year, but haven't made any formal arangements as yet. Have a friend in Arizona - may visit him.

I don't know, D... we're just letting the conversation have its way with us... both those places sound great, lmur... I've been to LA but not to NM, which I hear is gorgeous.

Love to, but have only travelled to Europe and South East Asia a few times. North America is still on the agenda.
