Rather different to local or American humour, pretty difficult to describe, perhaps it is a personal preference. If I think of TV classics like, "On the buses", 'Are you being served', 'Steptoe & Son' and "Love thy neighbour", I don't think they come any better, I just loved them and wouldn't miss a show for quids.
