A trip on the QE II would be ideal, it called in SA last year and I went aboard and liked what I saw. No idea what a trip would cost from the Uk to downunder.

Bloody nuisance that Downunder is so very far away, and I'm in two minds whether to come back the same way as I go, via Asia and Europe, or go all the way round via America.

Can't help we live in Paradise downunder, thought it would be worth the effort, no matter how you get here.

Definitely worth it, though other paradises exist, and will be planning itinerary in next month or so.

Feasting in Tahiti or Vanuatu I can also recommend, with lovely tropical beaches to brown your English complexion. You won't regret it Clary.

Got to go to Tahiti, last time the plane landed there but we couldn't get off as we were on our way to Rarotonga; had a few friends who worked in Vanuatu, I'd love to see that too.

Having been to eighty odd countries what is there left for you to see Clary? You must have an adventurous spirit to do all that travelling.

I get a thrill out of seeing new places and people and culture. There is always something to be learnt, enjoyed, laughed over, cried over, and the scenery changes too.

Keep reading. If I stick my head out of my door, and look right, that is what I see.

Lovely country setting. Although I've been to England several times, have never been outside London much to my regret. However I do love London and visted many interesting places.

Quite determined, would love to visit Europe once more, who knows. On the other hand have never been to the US, and they tell me Canada is also beautiful, hard choices. Smile
