South America, that place has always fascinated me, doubt if I will ever get there though.

Now, now, Dutchy dear, this is the alphabet game... I think Costa Rica must be very beautiful; I thought Rio the most lovely city I had ever been to - visually.

Oops, sorry Clary, I realised to late that I failed, obviously had those beautiful beaches of Rio in mind Smile

My neighbour just returned from Peru and showed me the photo's of the ancient Inca city of Machu Picchu yesterday, mindbogling.

Peru, yes, I'd love to go there; always had a yen to see Easter Island for some reason, was fascinated by the statues as a child. What bit of Oz are you in, if you don't mind revealing it? Because there are places there I haven't seen and want to...

Quite extraordinary you should want to visit the Easter Islands, I have always wanted to do the same thing and may well do one day, those statues have also intrigued me for many years.

Really loved the Whitsundays and Queensland (good friends and relatives all over) - went up to Daintree but didn't get further north, wondering if NT is worth a visit, or north WA perhaps.

Spectacular place Queensland, NT and WA are also beautiful places to visit but totally different to tropical Queensland.
