A word of advice,
Many in A2K are academics with publications to their credit, who enjoy the cut and thrust of debate under cover of their pseudonyms If you head your ridiculously lengthy posts with the pretentious claptrap of your "qualifications", you more or less guarantee that nobody is going to take you seriously !
Oh my god! I actually agree with something that fresco said!
I agree too. This forum is a give and take discussion group, not a place to post dissertations. I usually pass your posts by.
I usually pass your posts by too, because when I skim your posts they are:
too long for my liking
dry
come across as 'teacherlike'.
No insult intended. I'd like to hear more from you and see volleys back n' forth.
p.s. Lots of academics around here?! Haha. No wonder there is so much irony and arrogance.

Joe,
I'll be thinking of you when I'm passing through O'Hare with on April 14th.
fresco-
That's not very scientific is it.April 14th is a long way off and there's no gaurantee you will be passing through O'Hare (wherever that is) on that date.
If you would like me to suggest possible reasons why your assertion may not have scientific validity feel free to ask.
Spendius,
Thanks for those words of wisdom. I've just re-checked the insurance !
fresco-
Why so negative?
You might meet your Ms Keeler.
You might win the big one.
You might get knighted in the 3rd Sunday of the month honours list.
I had positive reasons in mind.
