Gifted Children

I believe that all children are gifted in at least one respect. When schools specify that a certain child is gifted in some respect, which can be seen at school and another's cannot, and so that child is given acclaim for that, I believe the school makes a mistake because then this other child who is gifted as well which the school cannot see, feels inferior to this other. And I see no reason why one child should be made to feel he's a nerd, another a geek and yet another brilliant or meek.
