A man has drowned in the middle of a lake, which is almost twenty feet deep, and is lying at the bottom of the lake. He did not swim there, nor was he carried. How did he get to the middle of the lake and drown?
maybe he was there before the lake was: flash flood
maybe he parachuted (or is that being carried?)

LOL, I've been wracking my brains and I just can't figure it out...but it seems that parachuting would be included in being carried...
maybe he tunneled over and up (prison break)
