Okay, I finally figured out how to get A2K to stop logging me in automatically everytime I come to A2K, but now I have the same problem in a different way.
When I go to A2K, I am not auto logged in. BUT, when I go to log in, it already has the name and password fields filled in. I want to have those fields be blank, since this is a computer I share at work. So what gives? How do I stop it from remembering my information? Dammit!
I think the auto-fill is a function of your computer/browser, not A2K.
Thanks, JP, but so how do I fix that then? I am on Netscape on a Mac, if anyone can help me out. I already cleared the cache, deleted the history, and restarted. That didn't do it.
So...what next?
If you are using IE, open it, go to "Tools", "Internet Options".
Select the "Content" Tab and then the "Auto Complete" box.
Uncheck the boxs for Use Auto complete for... "User names and passwords on forms" and "Prompt me to save passwords".
Oh, didn't see you there, Jespah. That is basically what I did. Yup.
Thankee sai!

A better question would be... what are you still doing using Netscape on a mac?

jespah???
Oops. Fishin'! I don't know where I got Jespah from...do your avatar's look similar or sump'n'?
lol It must be that our personalities are charmingly similar.
JP, I don't know why. All I know is that on this particular Mac, IE crashed about a hundred times when I first started, Safari did the same thing, and for some reason Netscape works like a charm.
Who knows why computers work the way they do? Once you start installing networks and software and who knows what, you're lucky the damn thing works at all, in my opinion.
That must be it, Jespah!

I'd second that notion... don't you run into a bunch of problems not being able to view certain sites, though? Netscape stopped supporting Macs awhile ago. What version OS are you using?
This computer has version 10.2.8 on it. I didn't even know Netscape stopped supporting Macs completely. I really haven't run into any problems yet. But I've only been here a couple months, and most of the time I'm so busy that I can't go surging around much. We'll see how it goes.
I just heard that Windows Media Player will not be made for the Mac anymore either, by the way. Just in case anyone cares. I guess Steve and Bill must have had a little fight during a golf game or something, and Bill said "No more Media Player for you!"
They are both animals lying down, but jes' is a dog, and is not drunk.
Are you?
Lol!
Oy! I was answering Kicky's question about Jes' and GFishin's avatars! But a bunch of post shappened in between.
Are you asking me if I am an animal lying down, or if I'm drunk?
At the moment, I am neither, but if you ask me again in about eight hours, there's a good chance I will be both.
