Happy Easter to all!
It's going to be a sorta weird one this year, although I always have ethnic overload since Passover and Easter almost always overlap. However, in this case, there is assorted chaos than usual on the Italian side of the family.
Still, I'm trying to stay positive. On the way home, to hold the fort as they say -- Going to buy chocolate bunnies and marshmellow peeps (candy shaped like little chicks made of sugary froth).
Please feel free to post and share you're holiday plans!
: )
we aren't a religious family, we celebrate the holidays' non-religious aspects (dinners, gifts, etc). The important thing is the family being together (Italian and Irish). As my niece ages she wants to spend more fun time with her friends, so she spend less time with my parents. I'll be heading to the Cape for the weekend. Haven't been since xmas. But, my sister wanted me to spend some time with her and my niece at their new house..... I've had a crazy 2 weeks and the cape sounds just right.
Ct sounds just right as well..perhaps its some sort of Spring fever?
My family is the same as k's...no religious themes justs bunnie visits, good food and great company...it works.
Happy Jelly Beans and colored eggs!
