Darlene Zschech - Pray

We call upon Your name,
Humble ourselves and pray,
Move in our hearts,
Move in our land,
Every national tribe and tongue Will proclaim Your Kingdom come

chorus:
We pray, pray
Open the windows of Heaven on us
Today,
we pray,
Pour out Your spiritYour wonders on Earth

We come on bended knees
We bring an offering
Lead us in Your way,Everlasting
Every heart of every man Will pray
Your will be done

From Buddhist studies, it's been shown that prayer or meditation will slow the heart rate, lower blood pressure, increase cortical activity and activate numerous aspects of the immune response.

This is true of simple breathing exercises as well. Many people who pray...don't do so for these reasons.

Some answers to prayers can be answered by the power of one's mind or oneself. Other answers that people receive point to a far greater power.

When a person gets down on their hands and knees in tears before God they are often asking, hoping, and believing in the miraculous.

I pray for such things almost daily.

I wish they would spell prayer right. Basically it should be prair. Because into thin air all prayer airs.

Our Father who art in heaven.
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done,
On earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread
and forgive us our trespasses as we
forgive those that trespass against us
and lead us not into temptation but
deliver us from evil.
For Thine is the Kingdom, the Power,
and the Glory.
Forever and ever.
Amen.

The light of God surrounds us,
The love of God enfolds us,
The power of God protects us,
The presence of God watches over us.
Wherever we are, God is.

........one might justifiably say all prayer is answered; one need merely accept that "No" is an answer
