Do you know how to do a file search in Windows Explorer?

1. Click on the search button on the toolbar in Windows Explorer (not Internet Explorer)
2. In the field "Search for Files of Folders" if you know part of the file name you can search on something like "*avatar*.*" where "*" is the wildcard. You can also search for all images by using "*.gif, *.jpg, *.png". multiple words are separated by camas.

2. Leave the "Containing Text" field blank.

3. Change the "Look In" field to "My Computer".

4. Click on the "Advanced Options"check box and make sure "Search Subfolders" is selected.

5. Click the Search "Now button". It will search for a few minutes. If your avatar is on your computer somewhere it should find it.

if we search by *.jpg we'll be here days, there are over 6 gigs of my digital photos

now if I could fins the person that did my paint job they might have my original - I was thinking when you uploaded they might have went into the library here

will I tried but there was a lot of section to go through and I didn't go into them all
