on a couple of occasions today, i've gone to look at what i think will be a thread - i'm seeing #of replies on the

index. when i get there, it's a single post with no replies. something occasionally funky with the counter? and noooooo,

i'm not looking at # of views - i know that's a different number.

i asked it here, because i first noticed it with

something newsman posted.

you mean.

On the index page the counters work differently from the forum view pages. I'm not sure if that caused the

confusion.

It's also possible that the counters need to be re-synced. Sometimes when posts are deleted etc the count

can be wacky but I don't see any of that happening.

Next time I backup the database I'll look into it but if you see

this again please post. Since i didn't see what you are talking about I really can't be sure what it was (the post count is

correct for this thread for e.g.)
