Why is Jesus named after a swear word?

I thought I'd share you with this, because I found it very funny. They're making a film in the UK to teach children about Christmas and Jesus Christ. because someone was shocked to hear a child ask why Jesus was named after a swear word.

Sure, it can be seen as an attempt to ram religion down people's throats, but British law technically ensures that schools should be ramming Christianity down pupil's throats anyway (well, state schools at least).

"When I heard about the boy asking why Jesus Christ was named after a swear word, that really hit me."

Very Happy

So, there is a light at the end of the tunnel . . . established church notwithstanding . . .
