Model terrified after home raid

SUPERMODEL Claudia Schiffer was left terrified after burglars cleared out her home?-while she and her family slept upstairs.


Thousands of pounds worth of electrical equipment was stolen in the raid, including a laptop and a camera storing treasured family snaps. The thieves also grabbed cash and a mobile phone.


Mum-of-two Claudia, 35, was "badly shaken" by the burglary on Monday. A friend said: "She's horrified at the thought that someone broke into their house and was creeping around while they were asleep in their beds."

She is also said to be devastated at losing her family photographs.

Stunning Claudia is married to Matthew Vaughn, 35, who produced the gangster film Lock, Stock And Two Smoking Barrels.

The couple and their children?-Caspar, two, and Clementine, one?-moved into their £6million mansion in London's trendy Notting Hill this year. A string of celebrities, including Elle Macpherson and Geri Halliwell, have been targeted by thieves in the area.


Claudia and Matthew also own a Majorcan villa and a Suffolk mansion.
