What are the leading issues of being a Christian in today's world and political environment?
Husker,
Exactly what do you mean by issues? Controversial things like gay marriage, etc., taking God off money, spreading the gospel?
yeah that and more, what is it about these times that make it difficult for us?
Wow, that's a whole can of worms, Husker.
Right now, I have three major concerns.
1. Abortion
2. Same Sex Marriages
3. Having God removed from the Pledge of Allegiance, etc.
I am against all three of these. Try explaining these things to non-believers and you keep getting that man is progressing, etc. They seem to think that God's laws should change to accommodate them. I don't find it progression at all. I find it a great decline in morals.
The fact that non-believers seem to demand proof of God just blows my mind. They just cannot seem to grasp the meaning of God is greater than man. It is so frustrating at times.
They cannot seem to understand how immoral these things are to God. It is so sad to think they are so deceived. Yet, when you bring them the truth and they deny it, what can you do?
yeah and like 95% are bending over for 5% of the squeaky wheels
Exactly. It seems that everyone jumps on the bandwagon. I realize it is easier to go along with the crowd than it is to stand up for what is right. I guess I am just so amazed that people can be so blinded. I have even brought up the fact that we didn't have things like school shootings, etc., in the 50's and 60's when there were real families and real morals.
They have even made excuses for this kind of thing.
