Use 'self-raising' flour when cooking, or go with plain flour and rising agents? (baking powder, bi-carb soda etc)

I like very cold weather the best as I can wrap up nice and warm when going out. Too much very hot weather makes me think I will melt. Shocked

You prefer gold Jewellery, or silver Jewellery the best.
