Watch a bird/nature documentary OR take part in a yearly bird census (in your local area)?

@tsarstepan,
I'd rather watch a bird documentary. Dyed-in-the-wool birders are difficult to be around because they're so pedantic especially with the exact common name assigned to each bird. They're funny to watch though. Everyone has a pair of binoculars glued to their eyes, pointed up and running around blindly trying to follow a bird. They look and sound like a bunch of baby chicks.

And if you get caught in a conversation with a birder, you're in trouble. Nothing is more boring than listening to them describe a thousand mile trip they took just to spot the elusive yellow-rumped tit for their life list.

You must stream a movie in one sitting or watch it a bit at a time.

@coluber2001,
I rather stream a movie in one sitting. I have been streaming movies in several bits (more so over the past three years). But that's a sign of job related stress and COVID anxiety effecting my attention span more than preference.

Go on a moderate hike, walk in a park, OR just play Oregon Trail on your computer?

Walk in the park every time! Smile I like to talk to the workers, and always compliment them on the state of the gardens... they are always somewhat shocked that someone even noticed!

You have an important guest coming for dinner... make the meal yourself, or order in from one of those catering companies?

You need your carpets cleaning: Do you clean them yourself, or phone a company to come to do them for you?

@Bubbles66,
If and if I ever get an apartment that has carpets, if by cleaning you mean something more than vacuuming? I guess I'll hire a company to do so.

Choice of hot sauce:
Mild, medium, hot, extra hot, extremely hot, death by immersion in the center of the sun?

Every autumn, I think about getting a bird feeder but I never actually do. I'm to frugal. That said, I'm proanimal feeding.

Buy the audiobook. Though, I just renewed my expired library card last week and placed hold on physical books. Haven't been to the library since preCOVID.

Which kind of villains do you generally prefer: grounded, sympathetic and flawed OR just out-and-out unambiguously hateable?

@tsarstepan,
grounded, sympathetic and flawed. I prefer to think that everyone is redeemable, though it's looking more and more like that's not the case.
In fiction it's easier to have an irredeemable villain, but the flawed villain is more interesting.

Accept the price and pay. And I also avoid places that would allow haggling as it could cut both ways (a really great deal or being shafted and paying way too much for what you're buying).
