Generally, in Europe you'll get at least four kinds: spruce, silver fir, blue spruce, nordic spruce.

(The so-called 'blue spruce' is actually a fir; regurlar spruces are very seldom used now indoors[by privates]).

I suppose, you didn't read the instruction carefully enough, George!

It's always been a problem of mine.
I won't even mention the Polygrip incident.

Well, yes.
Timing seems to be the issue.

You shouldn't gargle then, hamburger, but gurgel with a Stieben Laughing

gargle/gurgel ... that's what happens when i'm trying to switch between english and german.
i was thinking of one of spike jones' songs , "clink, clink, another drink ", where at the end of the song mel blanc gives a solo performance of the gargle/gurgel routine. (am i too old to enjoy that kind of nonsense ? never !).
my brother and i listenened to "american forces network" after the war to pick up the latest jazz tunes and kind of got hooked on spike jones. after coming to canada, it took me quite a few years to aquire my first spike jones tape. over the years i've been able to add a few cd's - that i usually play when mrs h is not in the house .
perhaps i'll entertain myself with spike and his gang performing "in the fuehrer's face" with willie spicer on birdaphone. (once a kid, always a kid !) hbg
