I fully understand making fun of cool as a concept... but it has existed as a concept through time, I bet my bippie, or your bippy. Too bad I don't feel like researching all this, but surely style has a long and undoubtedly messy history...

All I can say is that from a non smokers point of view I get really cheesed off feeling like im the one thats in the wrong for not liking smoke around me.

From a non smokers point of view of a smoker, they stink, there fingers are going yellow, and the idea of kissing a smoker makes me want to heave!

I don't remember saying you were in the wrong. I and others are trying to explain how and why we once thought smoking was cool.

I quit almost nine years ago.

I quit for 6 months... and then I just started back up a few months ago.... which I dissapointed myself... but I hope to quit again soon...

Yeah, it's not healthy. It's not attractive to hear someone hacking up a lung on the bus. I quit because it's not healthy.

And there are exceptions, like the lame sorority beeeeaches around here with a cig in one hand, cell phone in the other, driving their enormous Dodge Durangos with their feet. Of course I ain't talking about that. They just look dumb and slutty, as they always do.

I'm talking about cool people; smoking makes them look cooler.
