After the database repairs today, there were a lot of instances in which post counts were out of sync. For example, there were newbies with several posts that had 0 posts in their post count.
The post indexes were repaired based on the current postings in the forum. This means some post counts may have increased. For example, the postings during this morning's errors were largely unrecorded in post counts but are now accounted for. Some post counts may decrease as pruned posts from the testing forum usually count in a member's post count, but when repairing the counts they are not present in the database and can't be used to accurately fix indexes.
Anywho, this is the answer to the "why did my postcount change" questions to come.
Thanks for doing all the heavy lifting. You deserve a break.
OK - breaktime is over. Now, get back in there and whip them hamsters into line.
damn hamsters....running amuck yesterday and causing all sorts of havoc.
Okay then. Appreciate the work you've done and keeping the masses informed.
thanks for your work craven. ;-)
might have to pay the hamsters union wager?
What exactly is the going wage for them these days?
Thanks Craven
I was testing the linking feature, and I could not link to outside links. It kept coming back to A2K, and not the link intended. I made several tests in the test area. Why? Please see testing area.
Thanks,

When it comes to a union wager, all bets are off.
