Hey! Hello everybody! I'll go to Brisbane next year to study at the university of Queensland. Anyone here from Brisbane?! I hope to make friends with you and we can meet each other next year. Is it ok? Nice to hear from you!

Regards,
Tammy

Dadpad--

I think you're both useful and decorative as well as being good company.

Hold your dominion.

hey

i've been pretending to be busy this week, pretending to work on assignments... actually that's not true - it did do 3 of them so it wasn't all pretend!!! hehehe

so how you finding UQ.... that campus is too big for me! it's the same size as my home town in scotland!!

although I live in brisbane, and am studying here this year, I'm actually off to Bond Uni next year, down on the Gold Coast. there's A LOT of international students at Bond, infact probably more internationals than domestics!

hope you're working hard, and playing harder!

Hi, I always play harder! Lol! But here, I become harder in studying! English is not my 1st language, studying in another language is never easy, you know! ^^ I got a sholarship for international student to study at UQ. Yeah, its campus is very large! But it's nice!

You r studying in Gold Coast? Oh my God! You are living in the most beautiful beach in Aus! You're lucky! There are many international students at UQ, too. But I'm the only international student is half of my small classes. Very Happy

How long will you study here? It's my 1st semester here and I have 6 semesters, oh my God! Wish you a nice weekend! ^_^

I'm the only international student on my whole course at the minute... thankfully it will be different next year when I get to Uni!

Yes studying in a different language is hard, so just make sure that you get out and about and get lots of practise. I used to practice my french by watching french films!

So what are you studying?

I'm doing a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Bachlor of Arts (majors in French/ International Relations). Since my course is two degrees it will take me longer than you. The course is 10 semesters, so at UQ that would be 5 years. Because Bond Uni has 3 semesters a year I complete it in 3 years and 4 months.

Oh, that sounds great! Just over 3 years to complete a dual program! I'm studying Bachelor of Economics, it takes me 3 years to complete it but I can complete it earlier if I study in summer semester or enrol more courses each semester. I intended to study LLB but I think it's difficult for me cos it requires an excellent English. I'll study applied laws after. Very Happy How long will you stay here? I'll go to Gold Coast after the exam finishs or maybe in the summer. Hope we can meet there! ^_^ Keep in touch ffy!

G'day!
