Ah, seaglass. I never see your location that I don't think of a song:
East Of The Sun (West Of The Moon) Lyrics
by Diana Krall
East of the sun and west of the moon
We'll build a dream house of love dear
Close to the sun in the day
Near to the moon at night
We'll live in a lovely way dear
Sharing our love in the pale moonlight
Just you and I, forever and a day
Love will not die; we'll keep it that way
Up among the stars we'll find a harmony of life to a lovely tune
East of the sun and west of the moon dear
East of the sun and west of the moon

Stradee, Thank you CA. I never see a vase of flowers that I don't think of the ones on my coffee table sent to me by my sweet friend, Lois.
The best part, my dear friends, is they are not cloying.

Hugs back, BBB.
Hmmmm. My favorite flower, devri? I don't have one, honey. They are all lovely to me, and I think I know why.
Goodnight. You have made the day easier and the morrow more bright.

Sleep tight, Letty.
Golden slumber kiss your eyes,
smiles awake when you rise,
sleep, my lovely one, and do not cry,
and I will sing you a lullaby. - unknown

Care is heavy, therefore sleep you;
You are care, and care must keep you.
Sleep, pretty wantons; do not cry,
And I will sing a lullaby:
Rock them, rock them, lullaby.

Letty,
Thank you for the Diana K. lyrics.
My location comes from a childhood radio program called "Let's Pretend", I can't remember the whole quote, but it also had a herd of thundering elephants running through.

Letty, it takes someone a lot better than me to say the right thing, so I borrowed someone elses words.
Take heart. You will never forget what has been your life, but the recent pain will fade & the glow of good memories will come & bring solace to you
Artist: Eric Clapton : Tears In Heaven Lyrics
Would you know my name
If I saw you in heaven
Will it be the same
If I saw you in heaven
I must be strong, and carry on
Cause I know I don't belong
Here in heaven
Would you hold my hand
If I saw you in heaven
Would you help me stand
If I saw you in heaven
I'll find my way, through night and day
Cause I know I just can't stay
Here in heaven
Time can bring you down
Time can bend your knee
Time can break your heart
Have you begging please
Begging please
Beyond the door
There's peace I'm sure.
And I know there'll be no more...
Tears in heaven
Would you know my name
If I saw you in heaven
Will it be the same
If I saw you in heaven
I must be strong, and carry on
Cause I know I don't belong
Here in heaven
Cause I know I don't belong
Here in heaven

Dear Letty
I've only just come to this thread and it's one of the few on A2K that gives me no pleasure in reading.
It's a mixture of huge regret of losing your husband but mixed with thanks that he didn't suffer any longer.
Now's the time to look after yourself - and with the encouragement of your many friends here, I think you'll be very loved.

Tarah, I was concerned about you after the London bombing. Thank you, dear.
I must say to all of you, that I will be all right. I am just so tired. I know enough about myself to understand that that is normal, and eventually I will get through it all.
It's early for me to say goodnight, but I am certain that you all will understand.
I have had so many wonderful and comforting messages here, and via e-mail. Phone calls that have been endless.
Even people with whom I am not acquainted.
I was thinking of our sweet hostess and co hostess of this thread. Thank you both devri and osso. Panz is still the manz. <smile>
From Letty with love

good memories are like charms
each one a special shape and size
you collect them one by one, hour by hour
Until the time comes to look back at your treasures
That is when you realize they have made a beautiful bracelet, that fits only you.

Letty,
This is a very beautiful song I would like to give to you to wish you peace, love, and comfort in your time of healing. I hope that it brings you the comfort I always find in listening to it.
My dear friends, I am finding it difficult to process information right now, but that doesn't keep me from reading everything and feeling a sense of calm and concern.
Momma, later I will listen to your song, and I know it will be inspirational.
Wolf lady and Bella, you are both sweet and dear folks. I have six rings that I wear, four on the left; two on the right. The dearest one is the tiny perfect diamond that was my engagement ring. I was so young when I got it, and I truly didn't think of the significance behind it.
I will probably take the ashes to my ancestral home in Virginia to be interred in our family cemetery.
Thank you sounds so simple, but I know you all understand the import behind simple words.
