I am writing a book which includes the seraphim in it. I cannot remember their names at all though. Could someone help. All I remember are Uriel, Seraphiel, and Raphiel.

Beats me. None are named in the bible. Where else might we look?

Oh, and welcome to the forum, uri. Have fun.

"Seraphim, as classically depicted, can be identified by their having six wings radiating from the angel's face at the center."

Names:

* Michael
* Seraphiel
* Gabriel
* Metatron
* Uriel
* Nathanael
* Jehoel
* Chamuel (Kemuel, Shemuel)
* Satan
* Abaddon
* Asmodeus
* Astaroth
* Leviathan
* Samael
* Semyazza
* Momma Angel

So saith the all seeing, all knowing, all dancing Wikipedia. Amen.

Ok, I'm not totally sure about the last one. Mostly because I added it, but hey, this is the Internet Smile

Kind Regards

There are many stations of angels.

Uriel according to the book "Angels An Endangered Species" (Malcolm Godwin) is an Archangel, and a Seraphim, and a Cherubim "Fire of God or Face of God." He presides over Tartarus (or Hell).

You have the Nine Choir of Angels which are:

Choirs:

Upper Triad:

1-Seraphim

2-Cherubim

3-Thrones (Ophanim or Galgallin)

Second Triad

4-Dominions

5-Virtues

6-Powers

Third Triad

7-Principalities

8-The Magnificent Seven

9-Angels

There really is a lot to learn about angels. Which group do you want to know about?

The Upper Triad are supposed to be the Seraphim, but one angel can be in more than one Triad, and have more than one responsibility.

I believe Michael was an Arch-angel. Is that considered the same as a Seraphim? Also, one that is most commonly overlooked for obvious reasons is Lucifer.

Michael is an Arch-angel, but he used to be a Seraphim first.

Not to be picky or pedantic or anything, Angelique, but the word 'Seraphim' is plural. Michael the Archangel used to a seraph, not a seraphim.

I have never seen this much detail in the Holy Bible. Can you tell me where to find it?

The only names I recognize are Lucifer and Michael.

There are many books on angels out there. In the information from my first post I also gave the name, and author of the book.

If your bible has a concordance, look for information under the word angel. The bible does not go into details about angels.

Much of the information on angels comes from books the composers of the bible considered heresy.

That's what I thought. Hope you all don't believe in all that. Whenever "man" gets involved, it's usually Satan trying to deceive people who are looking for answers. I say if you believe all that, you are susceptible to other falsities like Dungeons and Dragons, and witchcraft etc. Not saying that you do, just saying be careful.
