I hope so, Id hate the idea of a guy in the afterlife having a phantom pregnancy!
I shouldn't think so. If you're speaking of souls as they are referred to in the Christian bible it's written that man was created in the image of god. Now, does that mean that man AND woman are in the image of god? Does god transcend gender?
Either way, gender is an identifier of the sex of the body and, as such, likely wouldn't be necesary for an insubstantial soul.
i think it depends on whether the body is ressurected. why would the body be resurrected when it creates individuality and diversity and what should be happening is a move to unity. is there such thing as a female/male spirit? never!
Is there such thing as a spirit at all? How do you know?
