Stain.

So when you call him, "Come, Stain!"

Actually, if/when I get a dog, it's getting a real name. Like Frank. Or if it's a female, I'll name her after one of my ex-girlfriends.

Live with your new doggie a few days and see what name fits. She might be a Princess, she might be Rowdy!

I'd like to throw in Krišpín or Čestmír. Or Drago. Or Farkas, or some other silly Eastern European name

Dave. The best dog name ever.

Dave and Mrs. Penobscott.

Definetly give the pooch a name that fits his/her character!
Those are the best names.

I had my cat Essa for months before I gave her a proper name. Up until then I just called her "Black" (she's black) or "brat".
Laughing

But, I always wanted to name a dog Plug. Works for girl or boy.

flushd has a point.

We named a dog Dave and called him that for months before we noticed his little whatsit was a peter.

It took me weeks to call Dave Jill.

It looked like a Dave.
