And mares have some bad days...

I know this since my xbusiness partner has a big german warmblood mare. Lots to learn for daughter...

I know I'm late on the scene but I'm very glad she is doing better. She looks like a beautiful horse and to hear that she has a good temper sort of matches things up. I trust all continues to go well.

Just home from the stable - she took a turn for the worse - vet came out and depending on how thinks go over the next 8 hours we could be at the horse hospital. Stable owner is watching her the next 3 hours then we will go the following 6 hours. The daughter will be home from the band trip in 3 hours so we'll take her up on our shift. Lot of this falls on the mrs and daughter cause I'm not that physically able yet.

I have a gelding that is prone to colic so I know what you are going through. Thank God you got the vet out. Lots of people don't even know to do that and colic can kill a horse pretty quick. What kind of feed do you feed her?

By the way, she is a real beauty!
