To prevent wildlife areas being cut off from one another,some areas such as Banff National Park in WESTERN CANADA have introducted wildlife paths so wildlife(such as wolfs) can move from area to area.
Here in Florida we have "Wildlife Overpasses," honest. They're filled with foliage and go over several Interstate highways.
Apparently the very rare Florida Panther is mostly killed accidentally by cars.
I really don't know whether these "Wildlife Overpasses" have worked. Just saw one today over part of Florida's Turnpike.
