Well, there's some interesting news.

Almost all of the students who have received their semester reports by post are complaining that the scores they saw on Dec 30( the day when the answer scripts were handed out to the students) are way more than the ones on the postal report cards. Infact, some of the reports marked absent on the cards of students who were very much present for all their exams.

so the point is........who knows......May be I am first!

The first two rankers, who are my best friends fortunately( and unfortunately too) were there on Dec 30 so they know their real marks.

I did set out to college on Dec 30.........but,um, .........Never made it to there. Well, that was awful.

Anyways...

So, until I know my real marks........Lets not be prejudiced Smile

Thanks, here too, Spidey! It's always fun to hang out with my brethren - don't get much of a chance to do it where I live.

Asi is a ladki, yes. (That's about the sum of my Punjabi Smile)

Do you really live by the Ganga? Benaras?

Hi Heat

Sorry for the late reply...I had been too busy with exams.

I have a two day gap before the next one so I thought I would just check in.

Well NO

I am not based in Benaras.

The gutsy spider lives North of Benaras

The former Manchester of the East - as the British called it.

The most polluted city of India- Indian Pollution Control Board's 2003 report calls it.

The City of Sin- I call it.

at a time when we have a remote control prime minister (under sonia) we also have a remote control captain (under chappal). wont be surprised if we lose the series to this half-strangth england side.

Chappal !! Whoops………

But the comparison is not justified. That we have a puppet prime minister is fairly acceptable but our cricketing skipper is not a puppet. Though Rahul has a low-profile personality, a phlegmatic he is, and Greg has a choleric one, theirs is a rather complimentary relationship. The very reason why the Dada-Chappal (oops!) duo did not click was they had both this choler thing.

the reason why ganguly and chappel did not click is because chappal is in the habit of talking and acting through his hat. he is only the coach - but he wants to be selector, captain, dictator all in one.

and dravid is the greatest ass licker, captaincy hungry wimp i have ever known. if he had the balls he'd have stood up for ganguly - as ganguly stood up for about 10 players, including dravid when dravid was dropped from the odi side. but a spine he has not and a puppet is all he is content to be. whatever little respect i had for rahul a a batsman has gone out the window now. i am sure he even hold's it for chappal when chappal goes for a pee.
