Better luck next time, Uncle S.

South Africa's spectacular win has brought some real comfort, hasn't it(at last someone's punched holes into the aussie fort)?

Are you in touch with Indian community's Holi plans in London?

Hi Heat

Sorry for the late reply...I had been too busy with exams.

I have a two day gap before the next one so I thought I would just check in.

Well NO

I am not based in Benaras.

The gutsy spider lives North of Benaras.
The former Manchester of the East - as the British called it.

The most polluted city of India- Indian Pollution Control Board's 2003 report calls it.

The City of Sin- I call it.

Hi, Spidergal. Hope your exams are going well. How many more to go?

Something you said in another thread made me think that you live in Delhi. But if you live by the Ganges North of Benaras - hmmm....Kanpur? That might jive with the 'most polluted city' bit. Right?

Its Dravid who should be red in the face, putting England into bat!

What do you think of that?

Fantastic win by England

and Andrew Flintoff batting bowling and captaincy!! Amazing.

Indian batting was shambolic after lunch. 7 wickets for 25 runs...you cant win cricket matches with those figures.

Anyway, have a good day, at least you've got less of the day to contemplate, than we have to celebrate!

I love English captain. He is one of the very good players in Cricket.

About Indian Defeat Yeah, Utterly Shameful.

I don't know why they were in such hurry to return to the pavilion. Rolling Eyes May be some advertisers waiting there for them Razz

Cricket these days is a Part Time Job for Indian players.

An Indian spectater does not like Indian defeat in Cricket but is very good at digesting it.

Flintoff said the victory to square the series measured up in every respect to beating the Aussies last year. I agree. Playing India in India is HARD, as the stats prove.

The boy with the hat is Bhagat Singh. He was an Indian freedom fighter who was active during the second freedom movement. Interestingly, he was not part of the Gandhi gang and did not believe in their non-violence funda.
(though you did not ask, but I'll tell )
The second pic is of actor Siddharth who played Bhagat Singh in the latest Bollywood blockbuster Rang De Basanti.

In the movie, Bhagat Singh is shown reading Marx, so probably he did believe in Communism.

No, I am not in love with him. I don't have the tendency to fall in love with married men. Laughing

I appreciate him for the role he played.

Mollywood?? Never heard of that, Uncle S. New concept. Smile
