While the "world as list of events" does not have its events ordered or in any sequence, the number of these events in the list - just as with any report in the public domain of language, is itself not in the list. Further, there can be no enumeration (count) of the isolated events in the 'world as list of events'. This is because to consider them all is to consider another event; and the attempt to consider one event in isolation fails because one is indistinguishable from many in the case of one observer, and one is indistinguishable from nothing (or better, no count) in the case of no observer, or, which is the same thing, where object and subject (counter and counted) are the same. The multiplicity of the world is dependent on perspective and not determined empirically (determined by facts).
