What’s a misconception about exercise that you’ve heard?

For me, one I hear pretty often is that working out after work will just make you even more tired. And honestly, I get it. After sitting through or working through a whole day, sometimes the gym is the last place you feel like going.
But I’ve had plenty of days where I thought I was too tired to train, started moving anyway, and ended up feeling way better afterward. Doesn’t mean you have to go crush a crazy workout either. Sometimes a short session is all you need.
I’m curious what other exercise myths people have heard that just don’t make much sense.
