I tried to post an image that had % signs in the URL. It doesn't work. You can see it in the "Funny Pictures" thread.
This is by design. URLs ideally should not contain spaces. The file name for that image is: That Wasn't Chicken.jpg
A browser fixes the url by adding %20 to replace the spaces. The bbcode parser does not do this because of the potential for other unwanted effects.
