1 hour ago · An Oscar winner, he was known for disappearing into wide-ranging roles in movies like “Apocalypse Now” and “The Godfather” and in the television series “Lonesome Dove.”
How sad to hear this. He was as good as it gets. And his movies are some of my favorites (To Kill a Mockingbird, Apocalypse Now, Godfather, Great Santini, Tender Mercies , etc.)
