@edgarblythe,
Where are you getting this from? His own website doesn't have this.

Neither do Wikipedia, The Hollywood Reporter, or TMZ.
I saw it on facebook. I asked Meta ai if it's true and it gave me what I posted here.
I asked copilot and got this
Meta AI is almost certainly repeating the same death‑hoax cycle that’s been circulating for years. Every credible source shows that Art Garfunkel is alive, and the recent “reports” are fabricated.
The most recent hoax followed a familiar pattern: a fake “R.I.P. Art Garfunkel” Facebook page went viral, gathered huge engagement, and convinced people he had died. His representatives then confirmed he was “alive and well” and urged people to stop believing random internet posts . Another breakdown traced the rumor to a misleading YouTube video titled as if it were breaking news; that video’s creator has posted multiple fake celebrity death announcements before. Garfunkel is still alive and fine .
If Meta AI is telling you he died, it’s almost certainly pulling from one of these hoax sources rather than from verified reporting
@edgarblythe,
so... this is a place-holder thread?
@Region Philbis,
I thought I was being careful about these things.
@edgarblythe,
Edgar, I freaking hate AI. I'm sorry this happened to you.....AI creeps.
@glitterbag,
Facebook in particular allows ai and other entities to put up straight out lies, until you have to be suspicious of everything but your friends.
