Have you ever walked in a cemetery, stopped at a tomb and wondered "who were they?". I do it all the time. And in doing so, I realized I'd much rather read a story about one of us normal civilians than some fake strop about a celeb.

Here's your chance to submit an obit that highlights whatever/whoever fits your fancy. Here's my first obituary submission. There are no limits on anything at all - time, distance, etc. Some nice and normal folksy stuff, off-the-wall epitaphs, bizarre will language...

Down Among The Dead Men

Dead of night
Taphophilic delight
The tombstone tourists frantic
For antics fear and fright

I was going to say no. But then again, once in a while, I'd Google the name to see if they were famous (the tombs are located in the famous Greenwood Cemetary in Brooklyn).

But otherwise, I'd just be imagining if there were actual secret doors and passages and perhaps hidden underground lairs and treasure that could be accessed through the biggest tombs in the above-mentioned neighborhood cemetery.
