@Lash,

You had to say something I guess, but what a random reach to nowhere! I don’t know who Stew Peters is; what’s the last thing I said about Hillary Clinton?? And the Pelosi story was weird. I finally got straight information about conflicting accounts. I think you’re springing a leak.

Stew Peters produced Died Suddenly which you gushed about on this site. We discussed it at the time. Later, when I referred to your using it, you again denied knowing who he was.

You've mentioned Hillary Clinton – as "Posh Spice" as well as "Lash" – a number of times during this campaign.

The Pelosi story was reported correctly. What was weird was people like you and others on the right who made up alternative scenarios to fill the void when official information was slow to be released.

@hightor,
No matter how you try to spin it, Oprah donated 1 million dollars to the Harris campaign.

Period.

@hightor,
It is normal to mention political figures when they splash up in the news during a political campaign.

Otherwise, she’s just a bad memory.

@Lash,
First you accuse the Harris campaign of buying the Winfrey endorsement for a million dollars. Then you accuse Winfrey of donating a million to the Harris campaign. So she took the million dollars and gave it back? Doesn’t make sense. So who paid for the venue? You’re not doing much for your credibility.

@hightor,
Apparently Lash thinks donations can only come from private massive businesses. Remember Romney told us, corporations are people too.

I don't think Oprah needs cash, is why it makes sense.
Was it legal, is the question? Buying votes is what it's all about.

There's so much obvious butt-hurt here, considering how soundly your candidate got beaten,
it's quite comical to hear you talking about credibility.

Trump only won by 1.4% of the popular vote.

But it wasn't me making the charge that the Harris campaign paid for an endorsement. I explained that the money was a legitimate expense – payment for the venue. Lash claimed that Winfrey was paid for the endorsement and then returned the money – that still doesn't make any sense. So who paid for the town hall?

Bedtime for Builder.

Biden/Harris already cut at least 15,000,000 people from Medicaid and 42,000,000 people on food stamps, but now that Trump will be doing these things, Democrats will start pretending to care again.

@edgarblythe,
Those supplementary benefits were enacted for emergency relief during the pandemic. Both Medicaid and SNAP benefits. In order to make these benefits permanent, the GOP-controlled House would have had to renew the program through legislation.

The COVID Medicaid continuous coverage requirement was enacted under the Families First Coronavirus Response Act, which gave states a 6.2 percentage point increase in federal funds if they agreed to maintain eligibility levels in place at the time.

(...)

Independent research published in September by the Urban Institute, a left-leaning think tank based in Washington, D.C., estimated that 15 million people younger than 65 could lose their Medicaid benefits once the public health emergency ends. Nearly all of them would be eligible for other insurance options, including heavily subsidized plans on the ACA marketplaces.
