Posting a reply on FB, as soon as I start typing, a list of names appears, covering up the text I've typed making it impossible to proof or correct or change anything I've typed because I can't see it.
How do I stop this?

Just click your cursor on the page you're typing on and the box will disappear.

Just remove your typing finger and move it elsewhere and click, then go back to your typing. If that doesn't work, ask Google. Google is my Go To. Good luck.
